Entanglements #3 - The American Consciousness
Love Mary. Down to earth, funny, stratospherically bright. My favourite professor!
Please could tell me who the man is speaking? Anastasia 💗🌻🙏👨🏽🦽
Just heard the other day that Mary is a major leftist antisemite !! Disappointed but not surprised.
Exemplary person.
im a CS engineer, the problem is not the tech, the problem is people...
Good interview, although the guests only seemed to be able to cite misinformation on the right. Weird. 🧐
Peter Frankopan seems to be in competition with Bernard-Henri Levy for fewest fastened shirt buttons
Gooooo Mary! Can you imagine how she could dress you down if you pissed her off. Look how cool she sits while he blows smoke somewhere. Where the crap are the people and the comments?
Yes, cycling adoption is like the chicken and egg problem. When hardly anyone cycles, there is very little political pressure to improve cycling infrastructure. And when there is little to no cycling infrastructure, it takes a very brave person to start cycling. However, on the other side of that problem is a living environment that is much more pleasant: with less pollution; less traffic noise; fewer traffic accidents with serious consequences; more active healthy people. Bicycling is also much more friendly for your wallet. Given the many benefits, it is worth striving for even if it is a long difficult process. I applaud everyone who makes the effort. Not the least of which is Chris of course. Btw Chris Boardman is very modest, I remember his achievements quite clearly and I am not even British or interested in bike racing.
@28:22 four kilograms is 8.8 pounds 4x 2.2 = 8.8... nearly 11 pounds??
Wait, the Soviet Union is getting back together? And this was posted ~2 years ago? What?
very rational arguments and interesting proposals! with the advent of new technologies it should be feasible to implement these piecemeal reforms without too much associated costs. This is a technocratic problem that could be solved if there were better technological implements and engineering in governance. Unfortunately Government is plagued by fossils who get the the top by virtue of being winners of popular contests.
Mum died a few years back. We had both power of attorneys and she had a will. She also had a funeral plan and had left instructions. It was so helpful whilst we were grieving
A great lady.

RUBBISH!!.. . WFPB-Vegan diet is the way to go. So, Dr. Giles - show us the science and the facts, show us medical findings / autopsy, comparative reports and statistical data on cardio-vascular and cancer deaths. Without these, what you're saying is just an opinion. So deceitful, misleading and immoral.
Im upset how many subs. It has and no comments ...something is bing hidden..
No one commented on this.. well u know there being hidden
I googled this after getting into Facebook jail over wanting to celebrate July 4th. They really are 1984
45:05 - Don't be English bigots. Double Standards here in the U.S. were going ALL against Trump. That's why he got elected, in the first place. It was a national referendum upon the false, lying, spinning Mainstream Media. We had 4 years of Russiagate, which was all revealed in Congressional testimony to be a nothing burger; and it was (1) to try to deny Trump legitimacy, and (2) to distract from the real Russian scandal which was Hunter Biden's, . . . and the Media held a continuous, 4-year witch-hunt.
Makes so much sense.
Greetings to all from Beirut Lebanon
Wonderful . One man played different roles .
The interviewer is so irritating with his continual laughter.
This was great as ever. I wish Mary good luck with the arabic language

Parliament's grievous loss has been the gain of Jesus
my Italian teacher made me watch this, what the hell is that?
The rape of the ancient world is using modern ideas to reinterpret moral values and look for so-called lessons you believe support todays liberal agenda. In 20 years our children will be reinterpreting it again to criticism the ever changing opinions we currently hold. The value of an wiener history is that it cannot ever change once it has occurred and if we are really going to “understand” it then we must remember what it was like to witness the event from their own perspective. Perhaps then we might find principle that are worth making lessons out of.
Overpopulation to blame?
Jesus college is an actuall college? 💀💀💀💀💀

Well done to Jesus college Cambridge for being the first British institution to return the benin kingdom bronze art to benin, Nigeria. Well done on an emotional historic moment 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great gesture. Thanks.
Benin and Togo were the hosts for thousands of years of slave markets. Africans taken from their villages by the massai, the zulu, the swazi and other "warrior" tribes. Sold by nigerian and ghanian merchants whose families still enjoy the immense wealth that slavery bought them. Sold to persians, arabs, moors, chinese, mongols, egyptians..as well as europeans. And other africans. For thousands of years BEFORE europeans even knew africa existed. Now that nigeria is advocating "restitution" and africans world wide are also wanting "compensations"... when can we expect the good people of Benin Togo Nigeria and Ghana to confess to these ancestral crimes against their "brothers and sisters" And offer reparations.... ? Never... is my opinion
Very glad to have witnessed this memorable ceremony of return of a royal ancestral heirloom. Hope many more will follow. Thank you Jesus College, Cambridge!🙏🏿👍🏿💪🏿👌🏿👏🏿
👏👏👏👏👏
I'm glad more healthy people are buying gluten free nowadays, because the higher demand is making gluten free foods more profitable for companies to produce, which means it's also becoming more available to those who really need it. And it means that more time and money can be spent on research to improve its taste and texture. The same is true for lactose free dairy in the west, and for vegan products in general. Without the wide demand, those who really need them would have a much more difficult time.
Good
Inspiring man!
Who is going to invite me then?
